Work rooted in our community
I'm Sally Busby, a teacher, a mom, and an advocate for kids and families. I’ve spent my life in classrooms, union meetings, and IEP conferences, standing up for kids, for public schools, and for families navigating real struggles.
I'm running for state representative because I believe every family in District 78 deserves to live with dignity, opportunity, and hope. When I saw families around me struggling, underfunded classrooms, and parents stretched too thin, I knew something had to change. We deserve leaders who listen.

My vision for our community
I believe in Southwest Indiana because I see the strength and kindness of Hoosiers every day. From our schools to our unions to our neighborhoods, we already have what we need to thrive. We just need leaders willing to fight for us. My vision is simple: a community where families feel secure, students feel supported, and workers feel respected.
